St. Mary's Lightning Men's Basketball team had a chance to win this game over the Olds College Broncos. Evenly matched throughout four quarters of play. Each team had their chances to clinch in regulation but Mohammed (Olds) and Minniffee wanted more for an overtime session
St. Mary's had lead at some point during the game by an 8 point margin. The Broncos made up for the deficit on a strong game by their 6'9 center Jouvon Edison. He was the leading scorer with 21 points and 11 rebounds earning the right for a double-double. Edison has help for Mutkar Mohammed with his clutch 3 pointers (2-5). Those coming in late in the fourth quarter.
St. Mary's leading scorer was Cordell Minnifee with 24 points in 39 minutes of play. Hard work for the high scoring guard but time ran out of Lightning in the overtime session with clinching free throws by the Broncos
