Rustlers Defeat Vikings 94-93

An exciting game against the Lakeland Rustlers and the visiting Augustana Vikings. The game was back and fouth all four quarters till the very last seconds of the game. Lakeland came out with only a 2 point difference at the end of the first. In the second Lakeland stretched lead to 7 points going into halftime. Augustana and Lakeland went almost basket for basket in the third, ending the third 71-60 for the Rustlers. Augustana came back in the fourth where they outscored Lakeland, 33 points to Lakelands 23. However, it was down to the very last 2 seconds of the game that determined the outcome. It was a clutch rebound putback by Lakeland's number 5 R. Russell where Lakeland took the lead with 0.8 seconds left on the clock. Augustana had the last shot, in the end, Lakeland won the game 94-93.
