The SAIT Trojans entered the Snake Pit to face off with the Medicine Hat Rattlers on Friday Night. Both teams antsy to get going with the Women's game going into Overtime. The Pace of play was extremely high as the play was back and forth and vigorous. Both teams pushed the pace and had lots of scoring chances at the end of the quarter the Rattlers held a slight lead.
This play continued into the second quarter as the teams battled hard. There were no serious momentum swings as both teams scored back and forth, getting to the line and making baskets. The half ended with a 34-30 lead for the rattlers with neither team in control.
The 3rd quarter started much the same as the first quarter. Play going back and forth with neither gaining an advantage. The Rattlers seemed to gain a bit of control going on a 8 point run to lead late in the quarter. This lead lasted into the break as the Rattlers held a slim lead of 7 at the break.
In the 4th quarter SAIT''s 3 point shooting caught fire. The Trojans were shooting from everywhere and having everything fall. The rattlers offence went cold while this was happening. Coming back from 10 points down a 18-4 run won the game for SAIT. The Rattlers had no answer for the 3 point shooting of the Trojans and fell 75-82.
