In the nightcap at the 2016-17 ACAC Men's Basketball Championship, the MHC Rattlers handed the Augustana Vikings an 88-53 defeat. The Rattlers built a 17 point lead in the 1st quarter and never looked back. Balanced scoring saw 5 Rattlers score in doubloe figures with Michael Farion Leading the way with 16. Jaamel Slack came off the bench to score 13 points and 5 rebounds. Eddy Nkerahahizi led the Vikings with 19 points and 6 rebounds. Players of the game were Jordan Wynter of the Rattlers and Nkerahahizi from Augustana. The Rattlers will play the Lethbridge Kodiaks in Semifinal #2 at 8pm tomorrow night and the Vikings will take on the NAIT Ooks at 3pm.
