Lions Fall to Trojans

It was a tough night in the Den for our Men's and Women's Basketball Teams against our Calgary rivals; the Sait Trojans. The Women's team fell to the Trojans by a score of 63-57, but put up a good fight after getting blown out by 28 the night before. Catherine Montes came away with Player of the Game honours, scoring 11 points and adding 7 rebounds and 3 steals. The Men's team fell in a high scoring affair to the Trojans by a score of 99-88, putting up a good fight for three quarters, but failing to complete the comeback in the fourth quarter. Dyson Surmik was awarded the Player of the Game on 20 points and 8 rebounds. The Lion's will look to redeem themselves next week in their matchup against the Saint Mary's Lightning. #heartheroar
