2024 ACAC Golf Championships - Day 2
Day two saw the competition intensify as the SAIT Trojans maintained their lead in the men's team division but with some shifts in individual rankings.
Michael Valk continued his dominance, pushing his lead further with a two-round total of -8. Meanwhile, Malcolm Garrity of SAIT surged up the leaderboard to second place at -4, establishing himself as Valk's closest competitor. Jeremy Hart and Jadan Patel remained consistent, tied for third at +1, while NAIT's Mason Gorski held fifth place at +5.
The women's division saw Concordia Thunder maintain their team lead at +39, with NAIT Ooks in second at +71, and Medicine Hat Rattlers in third at +86.
There were significant shifts in the women's leaderboard on day two. Former ACAC Golf Champion Ella Gifford climbed into the lead after an impressive round of 77, giving her a two-round total of +16. Ella Dolan followed closely behind, shooting a 78 for a total of +18. Lauryn Psutka, who had led after day one, dropped to third place at +23.
