2023 Badminton Championships - Team Event

EDMONTON, AB (February 18th, 2023) – The Concordia University of Edmonton (CUE) Thunder hosted the 2023 ACAC Badminton Championships - Team Event on Saturday, February 18th, 2023. To start an incredible weekend of badminton with many milestones made for the CUE Thunder, SAIT Trojans, TKU Eagles, and the NAIT Ooks. 

On Saturday, Concordia University of Edmonton held the team semi-finals with the institute of technology matchup, SAIT vs. NAIT. The Trojans took the lead and won against the Ooks, 4-3. The next matchup was the battle of Edmonton, TKU vs. CUE. The Eagles walked away with the win in the semi-finals 4-3 and moved on to the finals against SAIT. In the finals, the Eagles pushed themselves to the top and won the Team Championship. The Ooks battled against the Thunder and walked away with the bronze medals.
