2023 ACAC Make Some Noise for Mental Health Campaign Champions
Edmonton, AB (April 25, 2023) - The Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference extends its heartfelt congratulations to the Northwestern Polytechnic (NWP) Wolves for their outstanding performance in the 2023 MSN campaign. The Wolves put in a lot of effort to promote mental health awareness and raise funds for their Mental Health Services Department. They successfully organized events such as a student-led march and rally, a bike-a-thon, and an MSN game day that effectively promoted their cause. Additionally, they produced several high-quality videos that garnered attention on social media. Their connection with local mental health resources also shows a promising future. Congratulations to the Wolves on a truly inspiring campaign.

We would also like to congratulate the Olds College Broncos for their excellent performance as the second-place winners of the campaign. Their "A Beer For Sam" initiative and Health and Wellness Department will be receiving a $1000 cheque. The Broncos' campaign was primarily deployed through their social media channels, showcasing the mental health strategies of their student-athletes and promoting unity in their community. They also featured a guest speaker from mental health organizations at every MSN game day event they hosted.
