2021-22 ACAC Women’s Hockey Player of the Year

Edmonton, AB (March 23, 2022) – The Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) is pleased to announce Jesse Jack of the Olds College Broncos has been selected as the 2021-22 ACAC Women’s Hockey Player of the Year. 

On the season, Jack tied for the lead in points for the Broncos alongside fellow Hailey Hoogkamp who was named ACAC Women’s Hockey Rookie of the Year. Jack tallied five goals and seven assists on 12 points for the season. In her career, she has recorded 11 goals and 14 assists for 25 points in 62 games for the Broncos Women’s Hockey program.

“I am very proud of Jesse and what her and her teammates have accomplished this season. As an Athletics Department you can’t ask for a better representative on and off the ice as Jesse.  She has tremendous work ethic, leadership and commitment to always growing as a person and a player.  This season she showed her versatility, transitioning to the blue line to help her team secure their first berth into the Championship series”, stated Broncos Athletics Manager Trina Radcliffe.

Jack came to the Broncos prior to the 2018-19 season and just wrapped up her third year of eligibility with the program. The Stettler, AB native also was the named the Broncos Female Athlete of the Week for the week of February 21-27. When not on the ice for the Broncos, Jack studies in the Business Management program at Olds College.

This prestigious award will be recognized at the 2022 ACAC Women’s Hockey Championship.
