2021-22 ACAC Men’s Hockey Top Scholastic Achiever

Edmonton, AB (March 23, 2022)  The Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) is proud to announce Dalton Hamaliuk of the NAIT Ooks as the 2021-22 ACAC Men’s Hockey Top Scholastic Achiever.

Hamaliuk, who hails from Leduc, AB, obtained a 4.0 in the Power Engineering Technology program at NAIT. The Ooks defenseman is currently in his second year of eligibility.

“To excel in this program while being a student-athlete is truly remarkable as the hours required Dalton to miss some practices, have many late nights studying and very little free time outside of school and hockey,” said NAIT head coach Scott Fellnermayr. “Dalton never complained about the amount of work he had on his plate; he is the type of guy that just gets the job done no matter what. We are very proud of Dalton for achieving this award.”
