“The time and effort Steve has put into creating a better and stronger program and team culture not only in season but during the off-season as well, is one of the many reasons the team has found so much success under his leadership,” says Aly Andersen, Vikings Athletics Administrator. “He has brought the motto of ‘good people, make great Vikings’ to the team and leads by example of that every day.”

Coaching the Vikings for a total of seven years, three as head coach (2019-current) and four as an assistant coach (2015-19) of the program, he has been able to lead the team to some of the most successful Vikings Women’s Volleyball seasons to date, creating a powerhouse program within the ACAC. This season, Enright helped the team to a 12-4 record, placing second in the north and earning a bye to the semi-final.

"Steve Enright is well deserving of this recognition as the ACAC North Division coach of the Year,” says Randal Nickel, Executive Director of Student Life at Augustana Campus. “Steve demonstrates a passion for sport and student athlete success and Vikings Athletics is better because of his great work."
