Pay-Per-View ACAC Basketball & Volleyball Championships

With the 2017 ACAC Volleyball and Basketball Championships right around the corner, the Alberta Colleges Athletics Conference (ACAC) is excited to announce the broadcasting of these championships on Canada's first conference-owned amateur sport internet broadcast network - ACACTV (www.acactv.ca).

From February 23rd to 25th, viewers from all over the world will have the opportunity to subscribe to ACACTV through a pay-per-view service to watch the 2017 ACAC Men's Volleyball Championships (hosted by Red Deer College) and the 2017 ACAC Women's Volleyball Championships (hosted by Lakeland College) at a rate of $5 per day, or $10 per tournament.

Similarily, basketball fans will have the same opportunity from March 2nd to 4th to tune into the 2017 ACAC Men's Basketball Championships (hosted by Medicine Hat College) and the 2017 ACAC Women's Basketball Championships (hosted by Lethbridge College) at the same rate of $5 per day, or $10 per tournament.

These broadcasts will conclude the first year of volleyball and basketball competitions available on the network, made possible through a multi-year agreement with Calgary-based online video broadcast soutions company, Worldplay Canada.

Revenues generated through this pay-per-view service will be re-invested into improving the quality of future ACACTV broadcasts.
