Ashlee Walker, Concordia Thunder, Indoor Track

Ashlee Walker continued her dominant Track career with Concordia University of Edmonton, as she collected a number of individual and relay team accolades at ACAC Indoor Track Championships, ultimately helping the CUE Women's Indoor Track team to a bronze medal finish.

 

Ashlee started Day One strong, earning herself a gold medal in the Women's 1000M with a time of 2:58.22. She would follow that up with a strong performance in the Women's 4x200M Relay, helping her team capture silver with a time of 1:49.80.

 

Walker carried her momentum into Day Two, earning herself two more gold medals, first in the Women's 600M with a time of 1:35.80, and then the Women's 1500M with a time of 4:58.20. She would cap off a strong weekend performance with another silver medal finish in the Women's 4x400M with a time of 4:17.06 to earn her 5th medal overall in this years ACAC Indoor Track Championships.

 

Ashlee is from Sherwood Park, AB and is in her second year of the Bachelor of Arts program at CUE.
