ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Emma Grabowski delivered a standout performance at the ACAC individual championships, highlighting her growth, composure, and competitive edge in her rookie season.
 
Entering the event after consistently ranking third or fourth in Women’s Singles throughout the year, Emma elevated her play when it mattered most. She captured gold in Women’s Singles, demonstrating exceptional focus and mental toughness under pressure. Her ability to stay composed in key moments was a clear reflection of her hard work and dedication to continual improvement.
 
Emma also competed in Women’s Doubles, finishing fourth overall, building on a strong doubles résumé that includes two previous ACAC victories alongside teammate Archelle Ouano. Her performances across events showcased not only her skill, but her courage and confidence on the court—earning her well-deserved FAoW recognition at the ACAC level.
 
Grabowski is a first-year student in the Respiratory Therapy program from Saskatoon, SK.

GAME ON: A GLIMPSE AHEAD

The SAIT Trojans are heading east to compete at the CCAA Badminton Championships on March 3 at the University of New Brunswick Saint John. Finishing second in the ACAC rankings, the team is motivated and excited to challenge themselves against the top programs in Canada.
