Rachel Jost, Concordia Thunder, Womens Curling

ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Rachel Jost demonstrated composure and strong leadership for Concordia's Women's Curling Team throughout the ACAC Curling Championships this past weekend in Lac La Biche. Her dependability and supportive attitude on the ice have allowed her to gain the trust of her teammates and coach.
 
Jost's consistency and focus helped propel her team into the semi-finals, where they defeated SAIT 11-4 before advancing to the finals and downing RDP 4-3 to capture Concordia's first ACAC Conference Championship since the 2022-23 season. For her efforts, Jost was named as the Lead for the ACAC Women's All-Conference Team.
 
Rachel is a fourth-year Bachelor of Science student from St. Albert, Alberta.
  

GAME ON: A GLIMPSE AHEAD
After capturing gold at the ACAC Championships in Lac La Biche, the Concordia  Women's Curling Team now has their sights set on the CCAA Curling Championships in Regina.
