Taleh Wade, Lakeland Rustlers, Men's Basketball

ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Taleh Wade led the Rustlers to their best weekend of the year so far.

The fourth-year guard from Arkansas led Lakeland in both points and rebounds, propelling them to a pair of victories over the Concordia Thunder. During Friday night's home win, he scored 23 points and added 10 rebounds, 1 assist and 3 steals. On Saturday, he led the Rustlers in both scoring and boards with 24 points and 14 rebounds, adding 3 assists.

He was especially good from beyond the arc, averaging 42% on 3-point shots, while still scoring from enough spots on the court to keep defenders guessing. Overall, he averaged 23.5 pts and 12 rebounds per game this weekend.

Taleh Wade hails from North Little Rock, Arkansas in the United Sates, and is in his fourth year of eligibility, working on a Bachelor of Arts degree at Lakeland College.
