Andrew Maclean delivered an extraordinary performance over the weekend against the reigning ACAC champions, the RDP Kings. His skill and composure were on full display as he made 36 saves during a nail-biting 3-2 overtime victory on Friday night at RDP. This stellar effort not only helped secure the win but also set a strong precedent for the team as they headed into their home opener the following night.
On Saturday, Maclean continued to shine, racking up an impressive 47 saves in a 4-2 victory against the Kings at home. His remarkable performance earned him the Player of the Game award and showcased his critical role in the Trojans' early-season success. With a total of 83 saves across both games, Maclean has firmly established himself as a key player, positioning SAIT for a promising season ahead.
Maclean is a second-year Open Studies student from Port Huron, Michigan.
