Karym Coleman, Briercrest Clippers, Men's Volleyball

Congratulations to the Briercrest Clipper Men's Volleyball team for their impressive win at the 2023 ACAC Men's Volleyball Championship at Keyano this past weekend! Karym Coleman was undoubtedly a key player in the team's success, with an incredible 88 kills in the three tournament matches. As the league-leader in points per game, Coleman brought his A-game to the tournament, proving to be an unstoppable force on the court.

It's no surprise that Coleman was named Player of the Game in the quarterfinal win over the top-seeded North Division team, as well as in the Gold Medal match win over the top-seeded South Division team. With 33 kills in each of those matches, his performance was truly outstanding.

Coleman's exceptional play this season was recognized with an All-Conference Team selection earlier in the week, and he was further recognized as tournament MVP for his incredible performance in the championship. As a fourth-year student and a Master of Arts in Leadership & Management student, Coleman has had an impressive career with the Clippers, and he has certainly proven himself to be a valuable asset to the team.

With this win, the Clippers advance to the CCAA Men's Volleyball National Championships in Etobicoke, ON, where they will compete for a CCAA National Title from March 8-11th. It will no doubt be an exciting event, and fans of the Clippers will be eagerly anticipating their team's performance.
