Leonard Chesoo, Men's Cross-Country, Concordia Thunder

Concordia's Leonard Chesoo clinched his third straight men's individual title this past Saturday at Gold Bar Park in Edmonton.

The fourth-year runner from Iten, Kenya, won the ACAC title in the men's 8km race, finishing in a time of 26:21 - only 15 seconds faster than his nearest competitor. This season, Leonard had fierce competition which only pushed his game to the next level. SAIT's first year, Moktar Said, was always just seconds behind Leonard which made for an exciting season for Chesoo fans!

We're excited to see Leonard to Nationals November 12th in Medicine Hat, Alberta. Best of luck Leonard!
