Ella Gifford, Concordia Thunder, Golf

After 1st place finishes in both regional qualifiers, Ella kept her momentum going into the ACAC Golf Championships.

Ella won the first two rounds, while putting up the second best score in the final round to win the individual women’s title by six strokes. Ella also contributed to Concordia claiming the bronze medal in both the women’s and mixed team events.

After the tournament, Ella was named the 2022-23 ACAC Women’s Golfer of the Year.

The Beaumont, Alberta native is in the second year of her Science degree at Concordia.
