Brodie Shields-Tyler put together an impressive final round at the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Golf Championships this past weekend at Edmonton's RedTail Landing Golf Club.

The second-year Trojan from Calgary fired rounds of 69 and 76 on Friday and Saturday, respectively, to sit one shot off the lead heading into the final 18 holes of play. In that final round, Shields-Tyler did not card a number higher than four all day long en route to a tournament-best 67 to finish the three-day event hosted by Concordia University of Edmonton at -4 to end the event as the only participant under par.

His score also played a big role in helping the Trojans mixed team win gold, and his men's team a silver medal. The men's individual title is the first for SAIT since Scott Allan went back-to-back in 1994 and 1995.

Brodie Shields-Tyler is Business Administration student at SAIT.
