Queen consistency leads to victory

After being relegated to the consolation round of the tournament, these two familiar foes faced off for the chance to for 5th tomorrow. With these teams having so much history against each other, the game would come down to execution and effort.    SAIT outperformed the Queens in the first set, winning 25-20. 

In the 2nd set, Katrina Dawe started to make a presence on the court helping her team take an early 8-4 lead.  The Trojans would close the gap to 16-15, but that is as close as they would come.  Red Deer would win the 2nd set on their 2nd set point 25-23. 

The 3rd set was a back and forth affair.  Tied at 20-20, a couple of SAIT mistakes gave RDC the victory, winning, 25-22.

Red Deer would slowly increase their lead throughout the 4th as without their primary setter Elly Prince, they didn't quite have enough fight to get themselves back into the game.  

Red Deer will now move onto play for 5th at 11:00am tomorrow.
