Prior to Thursday's start of the 2017-2018 Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Women's Volleyball Championships in Camrose, Alberta, the Lakeland College Rustlers women's volleyball team had had only one five-set match during the ACAC regular season.
For the end of the tournament, all three games were decided in three sets as the Lions grabbed a win over the Kodiaks, the Queens grabbed a bronze and the Rustlers confidently took the gold.
At the end of day two, the Ambrose Lions scored a win, as did the Lethbridge Kodiaks. The Lakeland Rustlers and Briercrest Clippers both remain unbeaten heading into day three tomorrow.
