
Edmonton, March 1st, 2018 – The Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) is pleased to announce that Kendra Hanson of the NAIT Ooks Women's Hockey team, has been named the 2017-18 ACAC Women's Hockey Top Scorer.
Kendra's play this season helped lead the NAIT Ooks hockey team to a 2nd place regular season finish in the ACAC. Hanson, a 3rd year Emergency Management student from Thompson, MB., led the league in scoring, with 26 points (13 goals and 6 assists).
NAIT Ooks women's hockey head coach Deanna Martin had the following to say about her student-athlete. "Kendra is without a doubt a skilled hockey player, who helped the Ooks win games."
