Vikings and Wolves battle it out in back-and-forth match

The Grande Prairie Regional College Wolves and University of Alberta Augustana Vikings battled back and forth through five instense sets on Saturday afternoon. Both teams pulled off incredible saves, and fierce attacks through the five sets. 

The first set went to GPRC 25-17 with the help of Wolves #9 Thomas Wheeler's 5-serve run. The Vikings returned with back-to-back set wins with scores of 25-23 and 25-22. 

Not to be outdone, the Wolves dug deep to pull off a 25-23 win in the fourth set. 

The fifth set was nail-biter, switching sides at 8-6 for the Wolves, who eventually secured their win with a final score of 15-12.

Player of the Game for the visiting GPRC Wolves went to #12 Ethan Nashim who had 13 kills and 10 digs. UAA Vikings #14 Connor Sinnamon was awarded the Player of the Game with 7 kills and 16 digs.
