Nov. 3, 2018 The Briercrest Clippers look to upset the Lethbridge Kodiaks in Saturdays rematch.
Both the Kodiaks and the Clippers came back in Saturday afternoons rematch with a ton of energy from the night before. Briercrest made things difficult for Lethbridge in set one but were unable to defeat them with a score of 25-22.
The Kodiaks continued with their momentum from set one, closing out the Clippers 25-16. From Carter Hansen's impeccable serving to Zach Wikenheiser's accurate setting, the Kodiaks were stringing together some wonderful plays.
Briercrest regained their stamina going into the third set by generating some solid defensive plays against Lethbridge. This proved to be efficient for the Clippers as they were able to keep the game alive and move into a fourth set.
Fortunately for the Kodiaks, this game ended at set four. While the Clippers produced strong efforts against Lethbridge this weekend, they were unable to take down the undefeated Kodiaks. Set four ended with a score of 25-18 in favour of Lethbridge.
