Medicine Hat, AB (February 21, 2018) – The Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) is proud to announce Nigel Mullan of Briercrest College has been named the ACAC Men's Volleyball Coach of the Year.
Navigating through a tough south division schedule in his 13th season as head coach of the Briercrest Men's Volleyball team Nigel Mullan led the program to a very successful season. Multiple wins over ranked teams led to a regular season record of 16-8 good for 3rd place in the south division, a national ranking finishing the season ranked 9th and a spot in the upcoming playoff. On the season Mullan's team finished 1st in service aces with 171, 6th in kills with 959, and 5th in total points 1298.

This is Mullan's second time winning the ACAC Coach of the year, he previously won in 2010-2011 where he was also named CCAA coach of the year.
