Kings rally with three consecutive goals, downing Broncos at RDC

Red Deer, AB - The Olds College Broncos looked like they had a comfortable 3-1 lead in the second half, but a persistent Kings squad tallied three unanswered goals, earning a thrilling 4-3 comeback home victory.

The Olds College Broncos made the most of their opportunities early and they hit the scoresheet first, converting in the 22nd minute. Broncos forward Fabian Gromenida connected with Calgary's Nigel Stebanuk, who outraced the RDC defender and quickly released his shot past Kings goalkeeper Jacob Hamilton. Eight minutes later Garren Oosterhuis provided Olds College a two goal lead. The first-year Agriculture Management Production student went wide and cut to the inside, finding the back of the net with a low strike.

Twenty minutes later, Nigel Stebanuk restored Olds College's two goal lead. The second-year Sports Management student capitalized on a turnover and raced into the Kings' offensive zone, beating Hamilton for his second of the contest.
