Tim Fragle Named ACAC 2018-19 Men’s Hockey Coach of the Year

EDMONTON, AB. (March 23, 2019) – The Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) is proud to announce Tim Fragle of the NAIT Ooks has been named the ACAC Men's Hockey Coach of the Year.

In his third year as head coach of the NAIT Ooks, Tim Fragle coached the team to a 20-7-0-1 record resulting a first place finish for the third straight season. This also marks the third straight year that Tim has appeared in the ACAC Championship series. Since taking over the NAIT Ooks Tim has a regular season record of 63-16-5-2.

"The professionalism and strong work ethic that Tim displays on a daily basis is second to none. He has the respect and admiration of his players and colleagues across the ACAC. Tim is determined to do what is necessary to make the NAIT men's hockey team one of the top collegiate hockey programs in the country," said NAIT Athletics Manager Jordan Richey.

Tim Fragle received the award on March 23rd, 2019 at the ACAC Men's Hockey Conference Championship Banquet held in Edmonton, AB.
