Dunkle Sets Record For Games Played, Ooks Shutout Voyageurs

EDMONTON, ALTA. - Dylan Stewart scored twice as the NAIT Ooks defeated the Portage Voyageurs 4-0 in ACAC men's hockey action on Friday night in the NAIT Arena. 

From start to finish NAIT controlled the play of the game. They outshot the Voyageurs 55-19. Dylan Stewart scored twice, while Thomas Foster and Jarid Hauptman added a goal each in the 4-0 win. 

Brendan Jensen made 19 saves to record his second shutout of the season. 

"We controlled the game from start to finish and didn't give up an odd-man rush all night. It was a good win," said Ooks' head coach, Tim Fragle.

Tonight also marked Tanner Dunkle's 130th game played for the Ooks, which is the most in NAIT men's hockey history.

With tonight's win, the NAIT Ooks remain in first place with a record of 17-6. The Portage Voyageurs remain in eighth with a record of 3-17-1.
