by ACAC Sports Writer Curtis J. Phillips 10/21/2014…Edmonton, Alberta - When Leanne Kadatz graduated from NAIT last year one would have to wonder how the NAIT Ooks women’s soccer team would fair during the 2014 campaign. For you see…during her five years as a student/athlete at the Edmonton school, Kadatz had rewritten the record books in a grandiose fashion with 99 goals in regular season play, including an amazing 25 goals last year. She would go on to score a ton of post season games in which the Ooks won the ACAC banner in 2011 and 2012. The Ooks would also medal three times at the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association championships with silver medals in 2010 and 2011 and a bronze finish in 2012.

A short version of the Pokémon character Sunkern. According to Pokémon lore, Sunkearn is weak. Sunkern is also said to be found in grassy meadows. Letwiniuk though is far from being frail but may be found in grassy meadows, or should we say grassy fields, in as much as she has scored six goals in eight games for the Rattlers who lead the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference South Division with seven wins and one defeat behind 22 goals for and only eight against.
