Rattlers Alum Named To 2010 National Development Team Europe Tour
Medicine Hat - July 30, 2010 - Rattlers Men's Basketball alum Troy Gottselig has been named to the 2010 National Development Team for their European Tour.
Gottselig, an Education major from Findlater, Saskatchewan, was a member of the Men’s Basketball program for two seasons from 2005-2007. While wearing the black and gold, Troy averaged 15.4 points/game and 8.3 rebounds/game in his second season earning him a Second Team ACAC South All-Star recognition.
This past season was a banner year for Troy as he helped lead the University of Saskatchewan Huskies to a CIS Championship and was named Tournament MVP. He was also recognized as the Blackberry CIS Athlete of the Week for his performance.
