Concordia University College of Alberta Women's Volleyball After an early season ankle injury Elvisa showed this past weekend she is getting back into top form. Her performance this past weekend led all players in scoring as she collected 16 kills and 1 ace Friday and added another 9 kills on Saturday to lead the Thunder to two impressive wins over the Vikings. She also led all players on the defensive side as she collected 16 digs during the two match series. Elvisa is a second power hitter obtaining her Bachelor of Arts degree at Concordia. William Gelderman
The King's University College Men's Volleyball William showed why he is one of the top leftside players in the league over the weekend as the Eagles split with the #9 ranked SAIT Trojans. As a 2nd year player, William recorded 30 kills, 11 digs and 3 stuff blocks as he continues to be a reliable player on the court and a leader to the young student-athletes on the team. His 20 kill performance at home on Saturday night helped the Eagles take the win and earned him Player of the Game honors. William heads into the New Year ranked 2nd in the ACAC for Kills/set with 3.6 k/s, for a total of 134 kills on the season so far. William is in the Bachelor of the Science program at King’s.
