SAIT Trojans women’s volleyball player Megan Brennan continues to show why she is one of the best outsides in the ACAC, recording 26 kills in seven sets of work this weekend against Ambrose University. On Friday, her 14 kills, four digs and two service aces helped her team to a 3-1 win. A night later, the fourth-year veteran added 12 more kills four digs, one service ace and one stuff block as her team ran away with a 3-0 victory. Brennan’s 193 kills on the year leads the entire ACAC.

This past weekend was another strong performance for Sam Tu'ivai that will add to his north division leading kill total. On Friday night at King’s, Sam amassed 16 kills, one block and 4 digs in a 3-1 loss. He followed Friday's performance with a 23 kill, 1 block , 1 ace and 10 dig evening on Saturday at home. His performance was a key piece to the Rustlers 4 set victory over a strong Eagles team.
Sam Tu’ivai, a 5th year student athlete, is currently completing University courses at Lakeland College. Sam, who is originally from Auckland, New Zealand, has been a true leader for the young Lakeland men’s volleyball program this season.
