ACAC Athletes of the Week February 15 - 21, 2010

Playing in the final weekend of regular season against the CCAA #3 nationally ranked team, 4th year guard, David Ness compiled 42 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists to lead the statistical and emotional charge for the Vikings. His tenacious play at both ends of the floor confirmed his position as a leader on his team.

David finishes off the season with 337 total points with 113 rebounds, 55 assists, and 35 steals for the Vikings. 

David is a fourth year student attending Augustana Campus, U of A taking Physical Education.

Jenn had an outstanding weekend in the best of three play-off series between King’s University College and Lakeland College. The Calgary Christian School graduate who in her second year as a King’s Eagle has demonstrated her ability to not only perform under pressure, but is also leader for her team as well.  Jenn accumulated 54 kills, 5 service aces, 19 digs, and 2 stuff blocks in three matches against Lakeland.  Jenn selected Player of the Game twice for her oustanding play. The leftside hitter finishes her season with an impressive 279 kills (3.24 kills per game), 186 digs, 21 blocks, and 20 service aces.

Jenn is in her second year taking her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at King's University College.
