Chris Porteus scored a total of 43 points, pulled down 19 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals in two games against the Mount Royal Cougars.

Jie entered the weekend event as the #1 seed among the men’s singles competitors. Jie Yung Sim managed to win the event and secure an ACAC Men’s Singles Gold medal.

Fifth year All-Canadian senior guard Cailin Lissel helped lead Concordia to a  regular season sweep this past weekend of North Division rival the GPRC Wolves. 

Yang won her third consecutive ACAC Singles Championship this past weekend at Red Deer College.

Cougars’ men’s hockey forward Chris Shudo was an offensive phenom this past weekend in a pair of wins over the Briercrest Clippers.

Shauntelle Williams was also named ACAC Hockey Online's Player of the Week. The Sylvan Lake, AB native stopped 64 of 65 shots as the Griffins swept a home and home series with the SAIT Polytechnic Trojans.

Keyano College Huskies rookie Matt Hebert, led the men’s volleyball team to their first match victory of the Alberta Colleges Athletic Association 2009-2010 regular season against the visiting NAIT Ooks at the Canadian National Resources Ltd. main court located at the Syncrude Sport & Wellness Centre.

Second year left side hitter, Meagan O'Neill, had an oustanding weekend against cross town rivals, The King's University College Eagles.  The MacEwan Griffins swept the Eagles 3-1, 3-0 on Friday and Saturday night, respectively.
