For the third straight year, Schwab is rounding up a team of current and former members of the SAIT Trojans women’s soccer team to participate on Saturday, June 1 in the Underwear Affair — the Alberta Cancer Foundation’s annual run, walk, and fundraiser for cancers below the waist, with campy underwear costumes the order of the day.

04/22/2013... Olds, Alberta —Humberto Aspillaga and Jorge Rodriguez will work as a coaching duo to recruit and develop athletes to take the Broncos men's soccer brand to the next level. The Athletics Health and Wellness staff at Olds College are proud to welcome the two new head coaches, both of which bring international experience to lead the Broncos Men’s Soccer and Futsal programs into the 2013-14 season.

Well, Larson and the SAIT Trojans women’s hockey team have brought former defenceman Annette Jensen back into the fold as an assistant coach. And it seems the young Calgarian has become somewhat of a power merchant on the ice, so to speak.

03/25/2013...Edmonton, Alberta - The last time the NAIT Ooks won an Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference men’s hockey championship the Pokémon universe was just a few weeks old and the movie Braveheart would receive nod for Best Picture at the Academy Awards.

The year was 1996 and the date March 29 as the Ooks had just defeated the Mount Royals Cougars 5-3 to win the best-of-five ACAC championship three-games-to-two.

03/24/2013...Edmonton, Alberta - As host of the 2013 Canadian Colleges Athletic Conference Curling Championships held March 20-23, 2013, the NAIT Ooks put out the welcome mat to eight men’s and eight women’s teams.

Like any good host, they were courteous and friendly but once the first rock was thrown and the brooms started sweeping, it was all business.
