Huskies Hire Women's Volleyball Coach

May 19, 2010 (Fort McMurray, AB): Keyano College Athletics is pleased to announce that Sean Seywright of Winnipeg, Manitoba has been hired to coach the Huskies women’s volleyball team. Seywright, 31, replaces third-year coach Melissa Laluk who recently relocated to Fernie, B.C.  Seywright brings 15 years of coaching experience to the Huskies women’s team. The Huskies finished the 2009-10 season with a 7th place finish at the ACAC Championships.

SAIT's Marsden Named National Junior Head Coach

CALGARY (May 4, 2010)-SAIT Trojan men’s volleyball head coach Ryan Marsden has been named the Head Coach of the 2010 Canadian Junior Men’s National Team Program by Volleyball Canada. 

“I have aspired to be in this position. I have put in the work to get myself to this level and it is fantastic that it has led me to this point,” said Marsden.

Former Keyano College Huskies Off to CCAA Championships

03/03/2010...Fort McMurray...The Keyano College Huskies men’s and women’s volleyball programs have provided a stepping stone for several athletes.
The 2008-2009 Canadian College Athletic Association (CCAA) Male Player of the Year Alwyn Piche now wears the university uniform of the Saskatchewan Huskies. Two other former Huskies, Robyn Denney and Keegan Kuhr are now off to the CCAA women’s and men’s volleyball championships respectively.
