04/22/2013... CALGARY — Terry Larson believes his group has begun taking strides in the right direction. Why? Well, Larson and the SAIT Trojans women’s hockey team have brought former defenceman Annette Jensen back into the fold as an assistant coach. And it seems the young Calgarian has become somewhat of a power merchant on the ice, so to speak.

Ooks say Goodbye to Pokemon and Braveheart

03/25/2013...Edmonton, Alberta - The last time the NAIT Ooks won an Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference men’s hockey championship the Pokémon universe was just a few weeks old and the movie Braveheart would receive nod for Best Picture at the Academy Awards.
The year was 1996 and the date March 29 as the Ooks had just defeated the Mount Royals Cougars 5-3 to win the best-of-five ACAC championship three-games-to-two.
