ACAC Hall of Fame Welcomes Nine New Members

Alberta Culture and Tourism Minister Hon. Ricardo Miranda to Congratulate Class of 2017

EDMONTON (May 8, 2017) – The Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) will induct nine new members in the ACAC Hall of Fame on Saturday, May 13th in Calgary.

The Class of 2017 will receive personal congratulations from Alberta Culture and Tourism Minister Hon. Minister Ricardo Miranda, whose responsibility includes amateur sport, who is scheduled to speak. Miranda will be joined by past and present ACAC representatives to pay tribute to those who have left their mark in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference's colorful 53 year history. 

Three talented athletes, along with two legendary coaches, two significant builders and two remarkable teams (the first teams to be inducted) will be recognized for their achievements in a reception and ceremony that will take place at Canada's Sports Hall of Fame in Calgary. It is the ACAC's second Hall of Fame event – the first since 2014 when the inaugural 50 were inducted during the ACAC's 50th Anniversary celebrations.
